About the joint event

The 2026 edition brings together two established scientific events held concurrently: Velké říjnové soft-rokování (VŘSR 2026) and the 26th Czech-Japan Seminar (CJS 2026) on Data Analysis and Decision Making. Both events focus on closely related research areas, including soft computing, fuzzy modelling, data analysis, decision making under uncertainty, artificial intelligence, and related topics. Organized as a joint event, they provide a shared platform for scientific presentations, discussions, and informal exchange of ideas among researchers from the Czech Republic, Japan, and other countries.

This joint format creates opportunities for international collaboration, interdisciplinary dialogue, and the exchange of new perspectives across both scientific communities.

The seminar is supported also by the research programme Strategy AV21 – Artificial Intelligence for Science and Society.
